About Keith McGurk
Keith McGurk started his Real Estate career in the NY suburb of Long Island in 2016. Prior to becoming a full time agent in the Myrtle Beach, SC area in 2018, Keith was a NYC Police Officer for 12 years.Starting in Real Estate while still on the police force, Keith managed to earn Top 21 recognition within his Century 21 Prevete brokerage office in his first year! Upon retiring from the Police Department in 2017 due to a career ending line of duty injury, Keith and his wife Kelly relocated their family of 4 children to Myrtle Beach, SC.
Keith and family had been vacationing in the area for over 10 years already, and they were extremely familiar with the growth and attraction of the area. Soon after settling into their new home Keith found himself back on top of his craft helping clients buy and sell real estate in his new surroundings. He learned the area fast and became a professional at marketing and advertising both his properties and his business.
In August of 2019, Keith made the move to RE/MAX Southern Shores and is excited to be a part of the best office of professionals at the beach!
With his Real Estate business firing on all cylinders there was still something missing, so in January of 2019 he got together with a few close friends and started Smoking Shields SC. A Federal 501c3 Organization, Smoking Shields is in 10 different states and gathers the service oriented mentality of the men and women who made a career out of Law Enforcement or our US Military and puts it to good work as we continue to serve the community around us even in retirement. Combining the camaraderie and love of a good cigar the potential for doing good is endless.
So much of who we are is centered around where we came from and what we've done. I can't wait to get to know you and your wants/needs. I look forward to serving as your trusted source of real estate information here in Horry County, SC. I plan on making relationships for life with every transaction.
